One Day is hands down the most disappointing film adaptation of one of my favorite books. My disdain for it has been festering up, I just might have to write a ranty blog about it later. >_<
Currently watching The Princess Diaries.
I was hoping that the hotel I’m staying in would have a movie theater within walking distance, but alas. It does not!
I WANNA WATCH ONE DAY RIGHT NOW.
I’m still reading One Day by David Nicholls. I’m not even trying to whiz through it to get onto another book anymore. I am taking my sweet ass time. I don’t want this story to end. I find myself living vicariously through Emma Morley. I love how emotionally invested I am getting with this novel. Also, I can’t wait for the movie adaptation to come out later this year! I usually worry about movies based on books, but I’m a fan of Anne Hathaway (Princess Diaries, whut whut) and Jim Sturgess, so I’m not completely worried.
Jim Strugess and Anne Hathaway in the film adaptation of One Day. I wish I had time to read the book now, but school is wearing me down. The movie won’t be released until next fall, so I’m good on my “Must-Read-the-Book-Before-Watching-The-Movie” rule. *phew*
I want to have a girly princess movie marathon:
Anne Hathaway in Alice In Wonderland = brilliant!
